What to do while you wait

Before the crew gets there. Four things that keep everyone safe and protect your insurance claim.

  1. 1

Keep everyone clear of the tree and any hanging limbs.

  2. 2

Stay at least 10 metres from any powerline the tree is touching.

  3. 3

Take photos from a safe distance, for your insurance claim.

  4. 4

Call Casey directly on 0474 250 832 — we triage over the phone.

What we handle

Emergency scenarios we deal with every week

Tree on the house or shed

A fallen tree or large limb on a structure needs controlled removal with rigging, not dragging. We make it safe before anything else can happen.

Split limb hanging over access

A hanging limb under load will drop when it decides to. We get there same-day for genuine hazards when access is safe.

Tree leaning on powerlines

Keep well clear and stay 10 metres back. We work with the network operator and handle the tree once lines are made safe.

Blocked driveway or road

Fallen trees blocking access are triage priority. We clear the path, then deal with the rest.

Post-storm cleanup

Multiple trees down after a big blow? We can triage the whole property: immediate hazards first, the rest scheduled.

Storm-damaged trees at risk

Root-lifted, split trunks, or badly leaning trees that survived the event but are now a danger. We assess and act fast.

Insurance claims

Storm removal is usually covered

Home insurance usually covers storm-damage tree removal where the tree has caused or threatens structural damage. We can document the job in the format insurers ask for: itemised scope, dated photos, and our certificate of currency.

Casey works directly with insurers and insurance builders across the Tweed and Gold Coast corridors. We went through Cyclone Alfred doing exactly this work, and we know the pace a claim runs at.

How the claim process works
  • $20M public liability, certificate of currency available
  • Site-specific SWMS for high-risk make-safe work
  • Itemised scope and photos in claim-ready format
  • Tweed Shire and City of Gold Coast, both sides of the border
