These terms apply to your use of this website and to any tree work you engage Tweed Coast Tree Surgeons Pty Ltd (ABN 22 675 810 885), trading as Tweed Coast Tree Surgeons, to carry out. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

Using this website

You may use this website for your own lawful, personal use. The content, text, images and design are ours or used with permission, and you may not copy or reuse them without our consent. We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it on an "as is" basis.

Information is general

Prices, ranges, council guidance and the self-assessment tool on this site are general information only, not a quote or formal advice. See our Disclaimer for the detail. Only a written quote from us, given after a site visit, is binding.

Quotes and pricing

• We provide a free site visit and a written quote with photos, a scope of works, and the inclusions and exclusions.
• Indicative ranges on this site are not a quote.
• Our written quote is valid for 30 days from its date.
• If the job changes, or conditions on site differ from what was quoted, we will talk to you and agree any change before doing the extra work.

Bookings, deposits and cancellations

[Casey to confirm.] Set out here any deposit required to secure a booking, how much notice you ask for to change or cancel a booking, and any fee that applies to late cancellations or to call-outs where access cannot be provided on the day.

Access, site conditions and your responsibilities

• You confirm that you own the property, or are authorised to approve the work, including any tree on or near a boundary.
• You will give us safe and clear access on the agreed day.
• You will tell us about anything that affects the work, such as underground services, septic systems, irrigation, pools or structures near the tree.
• Where a tree is shared with, or affects, a neighbour, it is your responsibility to sort out the necessary permissions.

Council approvals

Getting any required council approval is your responsibility. We will advise whether your job is likely to need an approval pathway, tell you what the council needs to see, and write a scope that matches, but we do not lodge applications on your behalf. See our Disclaimer.

Payment terms

Workmanship

Insurance and liability

We hold $20M public liability cover and work to recognised safety standards. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage that is outside our reasonable control, or that results from information you gave us being incomplete or incorrect. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your consumer rights

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms removes or reduces those guarantees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction.
