Tree removal & pruning in Tumbulgum

Where the rivers meet. Big old riverbank trees, heritage village blocks and cane-country properties across Tumbulgum, Dungay and Condong, in the heart of the Tweed Valley.

Tumbulgum sits where the Tweed and Rous rivers meet, a historic village ringed by cane country and rural blocks. The trees match the setting: large old figs and gums along the riverbanks, established trees on tight heritage village lots, and serious rural removals out on the surrounding farms. We work the river-valley localities around it too, including Dungay and Condong.

Tumbulgum is one of the prettiest spots on the Tweed, and it grows big trees. Sitting at the junction of the Tweed and Rous rivers, the village and the cane country around it carry large old figs and gums along the banks, the kind that have been there longer than the houses. When one of those needs work near a home or the road, it’s a considered job: the right method, the right rigging, and real care about what’s protected.

The village itself brings tight, heritage-era lots where access is limited and the drop zone is small, so a roped sectional take-down is often the answer over a straight fell. Out on the surrounding farms it’s the opposite, open rural blocks where we can bring a crane or EWP to a genuinely large removal. We read each block and match the method to it.

We cover the river-valley localities around Tumbulgum the same way, including Dungay and Condong. It’s all Tweed Shire (NSW), with extra care for the riparian vegetation along the rivers, and on rural-zoned land we check whether Local Land Services rules apply before we quote.

Reviews from across the coast

Casey and his crew were very professional. They were on time and left the property cleaner than they found it. All members of his team made it a point to greet me and my wife. I would recommend them over and over. Casey is a calm professional business owner and runs an amazing crew.

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Casey from the onset. He made the very difficult job of removing a large Hoop Pine from our property both safe, cost effective and most importantly possible. Bowie, as the climber, methodically worked to lower section by section the limbs and trunk within a very cramped and access impaired area on our property. Nothing was a problem and we really appreciated their honest approach to our job. The job area was left spotless and they worked tirelessly to achieve an amazing result. Don't waste your time getting other quotes, these guys are the absolute best!

Had Casey and the boys at my joint to chop up and mulch a huge African tulip tree that went over during Alfred. Could not be happier. They were on time to the minute, set up quickly, we had a quick chat to double check a couple of details and then off they went. The work was done with minimal impact to the location and raked, swept and blowered, spotless. The quality of work and the genuinely nice guys make them easy to recommend. Do it. Thanks again lads.

Asked about Tumbulgum

Can you get a crane into tight Tumbulgum village blocks?

Sometimes, and when we can't, we climb and rig instead. The old village lots can be tight, and the riverbank ground can be soft, so we assess access on site and pick the method the block actually allows: crane, EWP, or a roped sectional take-down. Either way the tree comes down in control.

Do you cover the river villages around Tumbulgum?

Yes. Dungay, Condong and the surrounding cane-country blocks are part of our Tweed Valley run. They share Tumbulgum's mix of big riverbank trees and rural access, and the same Tweed Shire (NSW) rules with extra care near the rivers.
