Tree services across the Tweed Coast

Removal, pruning, palms, stumps and storm response from Tweed Heads down to Pottsville, and across the border to the southern Gold Coast. Insured, council-aware, clean site.

The Tweed Coast is our home patch. From the Tweed River mouth to Pottsville, it's a strip of coastal towns with salt in the air, sandy soils, a lot of cocos palms, and big established trees in the older streets. We know how it all behaves.

We’ve built the business right across the Tweed Coast, which is why the cross-border thing isn’t a problem for us the way it is for crews who only know one council. A job in Pottsville and a job in Coolangatta are governed by different state laws, and we handle both every week.

What ties the coast together is the conditions. Salt-laden onshore wind, sandy free-draining soils, and a heavy load of cocos palms that drop fronds and seed everywhere. Add the storms (Cyclone Alfred is the recent one everyone remembers) and you’ve got a coast that’s hard on trees. We do the removals, the pruning, the palm clean-ups and the stump grinding, and we leave every site clean.

This page covers the coast as a whole, but if your address sits in a particular town it’s worth heading to that town’s page for the local detail. We have dedicated pages for Kingscliff, Cabarita Beach, Pottsville and Tweed Heads, and they go into the soils, the common species and the council pathway for that pocket. If you’re not sure which one fits, ring us on 0474 250 832 and we’ll point you to the right one, or just sort it out over the phone.

Reviews from across the coast

Casey and his crew were very professional. They were on time and left the property cleaner than they found it. All members of his team made it a point to greet me and my wife. I would recommend them over and over. Casey is a calm professional business owner and runs an amazing crew.

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Casey from the onset. He made the very difficult job of removing a large Hoop Pine from our property both safe, cost effective and most importantly possible. Bowie, as the climber, methodically worked to lower section by section the limbs and trunk within a very cramped and access impaired area on our property. Nothing was a problem and we really appreciated their honest approach to our job. The job area was left spotless and they worked tirelessly to achieve an amazing result. Don't waste your time getting other quotes, these guys are the absolute best!

Had Casey and the boys at my joint to chop up and mulch a huge African tulip tree that went over during Alfred. Could not be happier. They were on time to the minute, set up quickly, we had a quick chat to double check a couple of details and then off they went. The work was done with minimal impact to the location and raked, swept and blowered, spotless. The quality of work and the genuinely nice guys make them easy to recommend. Do it. Thanks again lads.

Asked about Tweed Coast

Do you work on both the NSW and QLD sides of the Tweed Coast?

Yes. Half our jobs are Tweed Shire (NSW) and half are City of Gold Coast (QLD). That's why we know both councils' rules and can tell you which applies to your address before any chainsaw work starts.

How quickly can you get to a job on the Tweed Coast?

We're based at Bilambil Heights, which is central to the whole strip, so the drive to Kingscliff, Casuarina, Cabarita or Pottsville is short. For routine quotes we usually book you in within a few days. For a tree down across a driveway or on a roof after a storm, ring us on 0474 250 832 and we'll prioritise it.
