The Tweed Coast is our home patch. From the Tweed River mouth to Pottsville, it's a strip of coastal towns with salt in the air, sandy soils, a lot of cocos palms, and big established trees in the older streets. We know how it all behaves.
We’ve built the business right across the Tweed Coast, which is why the cross-border thing isn’t a problem for us the way it is for crews who only know one council. A job in Pottsville and a job in Coolangatta are governed by different state laws, and we handle both every week.
What ties the coast together is the conditions. Salt-laden onshore wind, sandy free-draining soils, and a heavy load of cocos palms that drop fronds and seed everywhere. Add the storms (Cyclone Alfred is the recent one everyone remembers) and you’ve got a coast that’s hard on trees. We do the removals, the pruning, the palm clean-ups and the stump grinding, and we leave every site clean.
This page covers the coast as a whole, but if your address sits in a particular town it’s worth heading to that town’s page for the local detail. We have dedicated pages for Kingscliff, Cabarita Beach, Pottsville and Tweed Heads, and they go into the soils, the common species and the council pathway for that pocket. If you’re not sure which one fits, ring us on 0474 250 832 and we’ll point you to the right one, or just sort it out over the phone.
